i was thinking last night about what i could do to help quotes out, and really, to help everyone fight back and support quotes in his time of need.
so, i came up with the idea of tshirts.
I think the one you did was very good.
Here is a rough idea for a tee shirt. How about a fake 10K shirt.

so i was doing my paper route today and i was admiring all the different colored glazing balls that people have in their yards.
i like gazing balls and i plan to get one for my yard.
but i wonder, what is the point of a gazing ball?
When I read things like this it is hard for me to believe that I was ever a part of a religion that would waste its time printing articles on whether it was appropriate to own windchimes.
When I was a jw I remember visiting a friend from a congregation I used to attend. He informed me that a "sister" I knew at that congregation had left the Watchtower over an article that said it was wrong to wear hearts because they were pagan. I guess she said that was the last straw and left. She had been a witness for years. Crap like this puts a lot of witness in a position where they either leave or stay and become emotionally disturbed. I think hearts are now a matter of conscience. They had better because I have bought my wife several piece of heart jewelry and she wears them.
When you think about it doesn't it sound crazy to be discussing owning hearts or windchimes, or gazing balls as a matter of conscience?

Thank you for all the suggestions. I'm going save this thread for future reference. I plan on checking out all the links you gave me in the next day or two. My plan right now is to lean toward the low carb diet at first as I know it works and will get me off the sugar. Then I think I will work into more of a Mediterranean diet. I have a book on this by Kevin Vigilante and Mry Flynn called Low Fat Lies High Fat Frauds. The fast food is right out. I think that is overall my problem. People know that eat fast food every day are usually heavy and the people I know who don't are usually thinner. The beer is out (at least for now) and oatmeal is in. I agree that you can't stay on diets for every. A lifestlye change is needed to keep the weight off.
One other thing I've notice is that when you eat out the portions are much larger than they used to be so I'm making it a rule not to eat everything on my plate when dining out.
I think I'm off to a good start.

and almost 6 months since officially da'ing myself and stepping away from friendships that i had worked at for a decade.
actually, they stepped away from me, but whatever.. it's been a heady year for me.
ya, it's full on wet suits up here, even in the summer. booties and hoods. and in the winter, gloves and maybe vasoline as well.

It is about cars. Why don't they get the engineer who designs the glove box and the guy who designs owners manual together to discuss size before they go into production. I've had a lot of cars where there isn't much room in the glove box if the you put the owner manual in it.

I'm back exercising now but it will take a long time to get the weight off if I don't diet. I am confused about what diet I want to go on. I would appreciate any suggestions. Let me know what has worked for you. Slim Fast and things like that wreak havoc on my blood sugar so I can't go that way.

What is the water temp up there? Do you have to wear 5 mil wetsuites and hoods or is that only in the winter. I once met some surfers for Nova Scotia. They told me they put vasoline on there face in the winter to keep their skin from cracking.
i have never done a 60 month loan and i have sworn i never would... but with how much cars are costing these days i'm wondering if i will have to do a 60 month loan on my next car.

The reason the F150 did so bad is because trucks and SUV's have stafty standards that are far less than passenger cars.
I guess I forgot about this info when I post about small cars and SUVs. I was thinking about getting a new F150 a few years ago but didn't. On of the reason I didn't was I heard about the poor performance they have in accidents. My Subaru Outback does much better in accidents than most of the SUVs and it is pretty small also.

No more unethical than them pretending they are interested in getting you the best deal when, if fact, they are interested in getting the best commission. Car salesmen have only themselves to blame. At the last dealer I went to (to research my next car), the salesman assigned to us was quite knowledgeable and helpful. So I told him I was shopping hard and intended to get the very best deal and had done all the necessary research. I told him I would give him one chance to get me the deal I wanted, but that I would not sit in his showroom for an hour while a parade of "closers" came in, each with a different offer. I told him exactly what I would pay, asked him to write it down and take it to his sales manager. I said there can only be two responses: yes or no. Anything else and we would walk.
I agree with what you are saying here. I hope I didn't give the impression I trust car salesmen. I have had some horrible experiences at dealerships myself. If you go in blind they smell blood and go for the throat.
I'll give you one guess as to what happened next.
So what did happen? Did they cave in or try to continue with the games causing you to walk?
